Pair of Kachina Lithographs

Sold as a pair, these 11" x 8" lithographic prints originate from the 21st Bureau of American Ethnology (BAE) report, which was published in 1900. The BAE was founded in 1879 as an archival project to organize anthropologic research in America, primarily that relating to Native Americans. The images are renderings of Hopi Kachina dancers as drawn by members of the Hopi tribe. Two unique pairs of illustrations are available for purchase. 

Very good condition with toning to outside edges. Unframed.
